During our initial discussions, we identified opportunities where our groups can complement each other’s strengths:
- Salford Equity Ambassadors bring the research depth of the student body
- LCC Changemakers applying creative approaches to decolonising the student experience.
Challenge areas to work on
Together, we’ve pinpointed key areas for improvement in addressing challenges related to diversity in higher education, contributing to national conversations on issues such as:
- Representation of underrepresented audiences in academic knowledge.
- Incorporating the lived experiences of students to create a more inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
